In response to a solicitation for offshore wind from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, Mayflower Wind submitted a bid for a project utilizing transmission assets developed by Anbaric and purchased by Mayflower.
We’re on our way to a cleaner energy future.
On November 18th, 2020, under the leadership of Governor Murphy, New Jersey took a monumental step forward in securing the state’s pathway to a 100% clean energy future. The Board of Public Utilities, in partnership with PJM, announced it is moving forward with a separate process for a planned offshore wind transmission system, making New Jersey the first state to integrate regional transmission planning with its offshore wind goals.
This critical shift in policy toward a planned transmission approach did not happen overnight nor did it happen on its own. Thanks to your support, the BPU publicly recognized the importance of a coordinated offshore wind transmission approach for protecting New Jersey ratepayers and the environment.
Sign the letter here to thank the BPU and Governor Murphy for taking this step towards creating a planned, open access approach to wind infrastructure. When you fill in your info, your letter will automatically be sent to Governor Murphy and the Board of Public Utilities.
